Tournaments are based on bracket, single elimination (knockout) format and will be held remotely. That is why we utilize the leaderboard ranking to remove the need for pool or group matches to keep the tournament short and sweet.
The better your ranking is, the easier your path to advance in the tournament because higher-ranked individuals will compete against lower-ranking players in the earlier rounds. This method also ensures top players do not meet one another earlier in the competition. Because this is a knockout tournament, each player only has one chance to advance.
There will be no playoff or repêchage unless explicitly mentioned otherwise. So, players who lost will immediately exit the tournament.
