The Basics
You basically need to take a screenshot of your score and submit it the following ways.
- Submit your score screenshot to our email
- Upload your score screenshot on our site
- Submit to your mini-league manager (for mini-league participants only)
- Submit score for head-to-head challenge on our site
- Submit via game mod (under development)
Take Score Screenshots on Meta Quest 1, 2 or Pro
First, you need to take a screenshot of your score on your VR headset and sync it to Meta Quest mobile app or PC app. You must take the screenshot right after you completed your game (not your score on the leaderboard in the game).
We recommend you use Meta Quest mobile app. The PC app requires high graphics card requirements and about 15GB of space.
You can take a screenshot of your score in the game by holding the Oculus button (the button) on your right-hand controller and pulling the front right trigger button. Both buttons should be pressed for under one second (over a second is for video recording).
A notification should appear on your headset screen saying a screenshot has been taken. You can then select the notification to view the image of your score.
Next, you need to synchronize your VR headset with the Meta Quest Android or iOS app (or PC app) so that your score’s screenshot appears on the app. Ensure you turn on the cloud syncing feature on your goggles. This tutorial is based on the mobile app.
You will only see the cloud sync button on the Files app if you’re logged in as the admin account of the headset. Syncing is not available for secondary accounts on the headset.
Submit Your Score Via Email
Send your score screenshot to us at [email protected] and we shall add it to the game’s scorecard and leaderboards.
NOTE: Make sure you are using the same username in the game as the username you use on our site.
On Meta Quest mobile app, tap on your score screenshot under the app Gallery menu and tap on the Share button in the top right corner. See the screenshots below. Then, find your email app and send the screenshot to [email protected] together with your username (player name) in the subject line.
Upload Your Score on Our Site
Firstly, ensure you have enrolled in the game. Then, go to submit your score page. Select your game and a form will appear. Fill in the form with your game score and stats. You also need to upload the screenshot of your score. Ensure the score and stats are clearly visible.
On Meta Quest mobile app, the screenshot images are inaccurately labeled as PNG images. They are actually in JPG format. You need to rename your screenshot file to JPG (such as myscore.jpg) before you can upload it on our site.
Once submitted, we will review your submission and approve it to be shown on the leaderboard. You will be notified via email.
Submit Score For Mini League
For mini-leagues, you need to send your scores to your league manager. Only league managers and moderators can submit the scores to their respective leagues.
You may submit your scores to them via their email addresses or their other preferred methods. Please contact them.
Submit Score For Head-to-Head Challenge
If you challenged someone for a match, you can submit the result on our site. Only one party should submit the final scores of both players, preferably the winner of the match.
Things to Watch Out For
Sometimes Meta Quest VR headset doesn’t work so fluidly. Here’re the things you need to be aware of.
Do not press and hold the Oculus and trigger buttons for more than 1 second
This will initiate a screen recording function. You’ll notice the screen is being recorded when you see a red or yellow crosshair (+) on your headset screen. To stop the recording, press and hold the Oculus and trigger buttons simultaneously again.
Sometimes syncing between Oculus headset and your mobile app doesn’t work
So, you need to manually send over the score screenshot to your phone. To send, to go the Files app on your VR goggles and find the screenshot under the Recent or Media menu. Then, find your screenshot and click on the three dots menu and select Share. View the screenshots below.
