How VR Competitions Work

How Our VR Competitions Work

There are three types of competitions you may join for free.

  • Global competitions – compete with everyone in the world and get ranked based on your country and state.
  • Mini-leagues – compete in smaller groups of players. You can create your own league or join others.
  • Head-to-head challenge – challenge another player in a VR game and submit the result on our site.

Global Competitions

VR players in any country compete in different VR games and each game has global weekly, monthly and overall leaderboards. The overall leaderboard will determine the ranking of each player for upcoming VR tournaments.

Tournaments are based on bracket, single elimination (knockout) format and will be held remotely. That is why we utilize the leaderboard ranking to remove the need for pool or group matches to keep the tournament short and sweet. The better your ranking is, the easier your path to advance in the tournament, because higher-ranked individuals will compete against lower-ranking players in the earlier rounds. This method also ensures top players do not meet one another earlier in the competition. Because this is a knockout tournament, each player only has one chance to advance. There will be no playoff or repĂȘchage unless explicitly mentioned otherwise. So, players who lose will immediately exit the tournament. The tournaments will mostly be held on weekends.

For the leaderboard, you may submit your scores anytime you wish. Rankings are updated daily.

Prizes are offered for monthly global leaderboard competitions for each game while bigger and better prizes are up for grabs in tournaments.

There’s no age limit in any of our VR competitions. You may submit as many scores as you wish for leaderboards, but we shall only calculate the average score per player.

Mini Leagues

Similar to fantasy private leagues, you get to create your own mini-league for free or join existing leagues to compete in smaller groups. Each league comes with a discussion board, league standings table as well as players’ stats table. More info at our help center.

Head-to-Head Challenge

You may challenge another player in a VR game that we support. We provide a challenge feature on each player’s profile but you may also use the in-game challenge option available in each game such as Premium Bowling or Eleven Table Tennis.

The winner of the match should submit the result to us so that we could record the score on the two players’ profile pages.

Supported VR Platforms

We do not limit the VR platforms that you can use. The most well-supported platform is Meta/Oculus Quest, followed by Rift and the rest such as PSVR and more.

How to Submit Scores

After you signed up, you may submit your game scores on our site or via email. For mini-leagues, you should submit your scores to the league manager. Please read the complete guide on VR game score submission.
